Tony McCrackin
Tony grew up in the performing arts, performing in bands, choirs, musicals, and drum corps. Photography came as his second passion, and quickly became a way that he could stay involved with and continue to contribute to this activity.
He's been working in the marching arts since aging out of it. Starting as a marketing intern at the Madison Scouts in 2018, eventually taking photos for organizations such as FloMarching, DCI, WGI, and the Boston Crusaders.

Josh Clements

Josh Clements is an Indianapolis-based photographer with a lifelong connection to the performing arts, starting his career in photography while studying Classical Saxophone Performance in college.
Since then he has worked for a number of prominent groups in the marching arts including Bluecoats, The Cadets, Rhythm X, Matrix, and FloMarching among others.
He is currently the Media Coordinator and Senior Photographer at Bluecoats, a title he has held since 2020, as well as the photographer for Indiana Percussion Association which started in 2024.
James Thomas

James Thomas is an Indianapolis-based photographer, videographer, and creative director specializing in marching arts and live performance media. James currently serves as the Director of Media for the Plainfield High School Marching Band, where he developed and leads the program’s media team while helping shape the visual identity and digital presence of one of Indiana’s most recognized band programs.
James has built a reputation for creating impactful visual media within the marching arts, collaborating with internationally recognized organizations and brands including Fred J. Miller Inc., The Marching Exchange, Accel Activewear, Pearl/Adams, and Tama – Bergerault. Since 2023, he has also contributed as a staff photographer for Drum Corps World and Bateman Photography.
Amanda Renzulli

Amanda Renzulli was born and raised in Indianapolis. Her love of photography began while attending Broad Ripple High School where she started assisting other photographers, including Terry Bateman, Neil King, and Wilbur Tague. Her experience, her ability, and her approachable personality has made her one of the most sought after photographers in the area.
Amanda has two wonderful daughters and feels blessed to make a living at what she knows best, photography.
Amanda works with organizations like Indiana Ballet Conservatory, Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, among others.
Nancy Myers-Sholz

Nancy Scholz describes herself as a tattooed mom and an ASL teacher at Carroll High School. She started taking photos of the performing arts wanting to practice photography and to see what her ASL students were so excited about after school. She ran into another photographer at an IHSCGA contest hosted at Carroll in 2021 and has been covering events since.
Nancy founded Purpose Photography to donate some proceeds of her photography to a nonprofit audiology clinic near and dear to her.
Nancy is one of the kindest and most caring photographers to work with, with all of her mom+teacher charm and attention to detail. She specializes in portrait and action photography.
RoGer Davis

Roger Davis was taught the basics of photography in the early 70’s by his aunt, a professional photographer trained by the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed shooting film with his brother and developing B&W in a home-built darkroom during his high school years. After college and starting his engineering career, he returned to photography in 2005 as digital cameras gained popularity. He has operated his own business for over 20 years primarily as a freelance photographer for performing arts events such as Winter Guard, Marching Band, Dance, Jazz Choir, and Drama photographing action, portraits and groups. Some major events include ISSMA State Finals for Marching Band and Jazz Choir for many years, State Finals and many regional dance competitions, several WGI World Championships in Dayton/Cincinnati, many BOA Grand Nationals and DCI World Championships in Indianapolis, and the annual Music for All National Festival. He also photographs College and High School commencements for a major national organization while also managing private contracts such as the Howard County Sheriff’s Department annual headshots. Roger is well-equipped to travel the Midwest to provide his various clients an experienced photographer that can deliver quality images efficiently.
Tyler Hart

Tyler is a professional sports and action photographer based in Central Indiana, widely recognized for his ability to capture the defining moments of competition and live events.
Since turning professional in 2018, Tyler has built a strong reputation for dynamic, high-quality imagery across a diverse range of subjects. His primary focus includes sports, youth and amateur athletics, events, dance, and concerts. Known for exceptional timing and a keen eye for emotion and drama, he consistently delivers powerful, storytelling images that stand out.
Tyler’s client list includes notable brands and organizations such as Tag Heuer, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Sports Illustrated (SI), MaxPreps, Leaf trading cards, USA Volleyball, USAC, the 500 Sprint Car Tour, and numerous Central Indiana school districts.
In addition to photography, Tyler is an accomplished freelance writer. Since 2023, he has been a regular contributor to High School On SI, where he provides insightful coverage of Indiana high school sports.
Whether shooting under the Friday night lights, on the track, at a high-energy concert, or an elegant dance performance, Tyler brings professionalism, passion, and a sharp creative vision to every project.
Chance Varner

Chance Varner is a northeast Indiana-based photographer specializing in performing arts, sports, and commercial photography. A lifelong musician and former band director, he discovered photography as a way to remain connected to the activities and communities that shaped him.
Today, Chance works with performing arts organizations, schools, athletes, and businesses throughout the Midwest, creating bold, story-driven imagery that emphasizes emotion, energy, and authenticity. He is particularly passionate about serving smaller programs and communities, helping them tell their stories with the same level of creativity and professionalism often reserved for larger organizations.
