I’ve known Tony since I was a junior in high school, and he has captured some of my most meaningful memories from my color guard career. I always looked forward to seeing him on the field or in the front row at winter guard shows. He’s always smiling and brings such a positive, uplifting energy to every performance.
Performing has always been one of my favorite parts of the activity, and getting to look back at the moments he captured makes it even more special. His photos truly reflect the emotion and excitement of each performance.

Tony is hands-down one of the best photographers in the pageantry arts! He somehow always manages to capture the moment at just the right time and his editing is top tier. It can be terrifying--petrifying even--to go out on the floor and perform in front of a bunch of strangers. Over my past 11 seasons (both fall and winter) I have formed a habit of looking for Tony whenever I take the floor/field. It helps to ground me because I know that he is there, he is excited to to see us perform, he doesn't care if I mess up, and he's going to get some fabulous action shots of me doing the thing I love.
Tony is the kind of person who can take the fear out of preforming and make you feel like you actually matter and are special on and off the floor. He's remembered me year-after-year even though we might have only had maybe 5 conversations in total. He was more to me than a photographer, but a vital piece in my colorguard journey.
